What to Expect from Same-Day Crowns
A same-day CEREC crown appointment at Awesome Smiles will start with a consultation where Dr. Provenghi will design your unique treatment plan. From there, we will capture digital impressions of your mouth using our electronic scanning technology, and the machine will create your personalized restoration. Once the crown is finished, it will be polished and placed into the proper position on your natural tooth. Dr. Provenghi will make the proper adjustments to ensure that it fits properly and blends with the rest of your teeth. Typically, the same-day crown process takes 60 – 90 minutes from start to finish. Following the placement of your new crown, we recommend maintaining your dental health by scheduling regular appointments for cleanings and exams at our El Paso, TX facility.
